Background: Park has never been to his home planet, Zona; he was raised by his yen-mother and his yon-mother on The Albanathian. Despite his caretakers often telling stories about their home and their species, his experience of the world was ultimately in a very mixed-species setting where he learned bits and pieces of other cultures along with the general common culture aboard The Albanathian. He followed his parents' footsteps in pursuing a career as a scientist.

He is very independent, can be a little frigid at times when dealing with less-than-professional people, is quick to become frustrated, is a huge dork when it comes to biology, dislikes his species being referenced, has a bit of a napoleon complex, is bashful and flustered easily, and on the inside he is probably just wants all the hugs.
